Flipping Over My Flip Video Mino

Recently, I received a Flip Video Mino as a gift from my wife. I simply could not imagine something so small would take clear and precise camcorder type videos. This little gadget takes amazing videos that are clear and easy to hear. On top of the good quality, the Flip Video Mino is so ultra compact that it can literally be stored in your pocket. I take this little camera everywhere with me and it has allowed me to catch moments I never would have caught in the past.

This particular model of the Flip has some new and exciting features that are different from past Flip Video models. For example, the internal battery that charges when it is plugged into the computer is a nice amenity. Also, there are several accessories that are also available for the Flip Mino such as an underwater case, tripod, and camera bag.

One of the best features of this little camcorder is certainly the already installed software for video programs such as Youtube. This software makes using the camera as easy and quick as plugging the neat little "flip" arm into the computer.

Are there downfalls to the Flip Video series of cameras? I would recommend purchasing an inexpensive USB cord to avoid the possibility of the camcorder's arm breaking off. Also, right now (2008) it is fairly new on the market and a little higher priced than I might have paid, but since it was a gift, that makes it fine by me.
